Enrichment

Programs

  • The I /A\m ProGram implements Sports and/or specifically Boxing Enrichment Programs.

  • These programs utilize the fundamentals of boxing and other sports including Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Track & Field to help students grow Mentally and Physically.

  • The skills and conditioning training they will gain will enable them to succeed in any sport and we will cater programs to upcoming sports seasons.  We have joyfully witnessed development among students' Confidence, Ambition, Strength, Endurance, and Athleticism.  

  • We enforce the importance of overall wellness and encourage them to maintain healthy, active lifestyles.  We strive to equip our students with the qualities needed to succeed and to positively impact their schools, communities, and the world.

Sports Enrichment Format (reflects current after school program)

  • Warm-up & Briefing

    • In Formation

    • Building up the heart rate and focus to start the daily curriculum.

  • Rotations

    • Students will separate based on school grade with their assigned coaches.​

    • Each group will cover a specific sport.

    • Teaching of Fundamentals

    • Footwork Drills

    • Technique Drills

    • Speed and Explosiveness Drills

  • Life Skills Development

    • Students and athletes will be assigned a designated area for life skill settings and develop a senses of Character, Principles, and Morals.

    • Also during these hours we will be able to bring in certain people and athletes that can catch the students attention and that will draw them closer to their dreams and goals in life.

    • Teaching the students how to use their mind and mental ability to adapt and live through real life situations.

  • Scrimmaging

    • Certain grades will combine and scrimmaging in their respective sport.

    • Reteaching and corrective exercises will take place at this time.​

  • Cooldown & Workshop Debriefing 

    • At the end of every session, we discuss objectives and key takeaway points from the day's work.

    • We also highlight specific student accomplishments and commend improvements.

    • We recommend at-home exercises and tips for improving the specific sport as well as in overall fitness levels. ​
